A new immutable booking-policy version is published for the selected location and its new version number is shown.
Before you start
- Select the location whose public booking behavior should change.
Steps
- Read the current version number and location.
- Review every numeric value and switch, including settings you did not intend to change.
- Review the guest-facing policy text.
- Choose Publish new version once.
- Wait for the new version number and success message.
What each setting controls
Confirmation mode selects instant or manual confirmation. Minimum notice limits how soon a guest may book. Advance window limits how far ahead they may book. Slot increment controls the start-time interval.
Cancellation and reschedule deadlines are stored in minutes. Same-day booking, customer notes, named-staff choice, any-professional choice, and waitlist enrollment are independent switches.
Review guest-facing copy
Pay-at-location and cancellation text appears in the public policy snapshot guests review. Write it as a direct instruction. Do not imply that ilinara collects a deposit or appointment payment; the current public journey is pay at the salon.
Each publication creates a version
Publishing creates a new immutable version. Existing public availability and review screens carry the exact policy version they received. They do not silently adopt changed terms during submission.
When a guest already has an older version
If the policy changes before confirmation, the public booking flow returns the guest to availability and requires a fresh review. It does not silently submit under new terms.
If it does not work
- If publication fails, keep the current values visible, verify the location and inputs, then retry once.
- If a guest already holds an older policy version, let the booking journey reload current availability and require a fresh review.
