The Created state displays the authoritative customer record ID for the selected business.
Before you start
- Select the correct business before opening Customers.
Steps
- Confirm the selected business in the dashboard header.
- Open Customers and find Create customer.
- Enter the customer's display name.
- Enter the phone number in the format supplied by the customer.
- Submit once and wait for the Created state and returned record ID.
Know what this form saves
The current working form creates a customer display name and phone number in the selected business. It does not currently save email, consent, tags, notes, duplicate decisions, preferences, or the surrounding customer metrics shown in the reference workspace.
Know what confirms creation
A visible reference customer, list row, or metric is not proof that it came from the live customer API. Only the created confirmation and returned ID confirm this action.
If it does not work
- If creation fails, keep the form open and recheck the business, display name, and phone number before retrying once.
- Never invent or reuse an ID; only a successful response supplies it.
